HIGH-LIGHT 2022/23 PROJECTION MAPPING SHOW: Project page
HIGH-LIGHT - PROMO VIDEO.
HIGH-LIGHT - LIVE SHOW: Recorded Saturday 19 August, 2023 (Duration 56 minutes)
HIGH-LIGHT - Generating a visualisation of an unseen world. Memories of yesterday and visual scapes of tomorrow.
What is projection mapping theatre? It is a collision of cinema, exhibition and performance. An investigation into the virtual cinematic experience generated from a creative collection of moving images, constructed in a variety of mediums.
Moving image and sound created by digital artists from the region. The show was orchestrated into a single work - a symphony of choreographed visual performance. The projection screen was made up of multiple shapes referred to as 'QUADS'. These QUADS aid both perception and user experience... creating a spatial augmented reality environment.
Add 16,000 Lumens of light to the mix, a powerful projector supplied by the PNCC (PALMY city council) and you're in business. A three night show held in August 2023. Globe 2 theatre map.
